TERMS OF SERVICE

Effective date: October 1, 2026

These Terms of Service apply to your use of the Race City Engravings website and your requests for custom products from Race City Engravings (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By requesting a quote or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to the written quote and order details we confirm with you.

CUSTOM QUOTES AND ORDERS

All products are custom-made and require a custom quote. A request for a quote is not an order and does not guarantee that we can complete the project.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. A custom order is accepted only after we confirm the order details with you and you approve them. We will confirm all order details and obtain your approval before production begins.

The quote or written order confirmation will specify the project details, price, payment schedule, estimated completion time, and delivery or pickup arrangements. Changes to the design, materials, quantity, or other project details may change the price or estimated completion time.

PROOFS AND CUSTOMER APPROVAL

Please carefully check all approved designs, proofs, and order details, including spelling, names, dates, logos, layout, and personalization instructions. Production will be based on the final details you approve.

Once production begins, changes may not be possible. If we agree to make a change, it may require an additional charge and may delay completion.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

You may cancel an order within 24 hours after it is placed. To cancel, contact us at racecityengravings@gmail.com.

If you request cancellation more than 24 hours after placing the order, we reserve the right to retain any deposit or payment already made. Any cancellation or refund rights required by applicable law will still apply.

RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND PRODUCTION ERRORS

Because each product is custom-made, custom products cannot be returned or exchanged, and orders are non-refundable, unless Race City Engravings made an error in producing the order.

We carefully inspect orders before they leave our shop to help ensure there are no production errors. If you believe there is an error, contact us within 7 days of receiving or collecting the item. Include your order details and clear photos showing the issue. If we determine that we made a production error, we will work with you on an appropriate correction, remake, or other resolution.

This policy does not limit any rights that cannot legally be waived.

CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED MATERIALS AND RIGHTS

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to ask us to reproduce or engrave any artwork, photograph, logo, text, or other material you provide. You confirm that your request does not knowingly violate another person’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

We may decline a project if we reasonably believe the requested content is unlawful or infringes another person’s rights. You retain ownership of materials you provide. We may use those materials to quote, design, produce, and support your order.

PRODUCT APPEARANCE AND MATERIALS

Engraving results may vary based on the material, grain, finish, color, surface, and other characteristics of the item. Photos, proofs, and screen previews may not perfectly represent the finished product’s exact color, contrast, texture, or appearance.

We will make reasonable efforts to produce the item according to the approved project details. Natural variations in material or finish are not production errors unless the written quote or order confirmation promises a specific result.

PRICING AND PAYMENT

The price, deposit, balance due, and accepted payment methods will be stated in the written quote or order confirmation. We may wait to begin production until required payment is received. Any additional charges for revisions, shipping, taxes, or other approved changes will be disclosed before they are incurred.

PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY

We will provide an estimated completion or delivery timeframe in the quote or order confirmation when possible. Custom work may take longer if you request changes, delay approvals, or if materials or shipping are delayed. We will communicate material delays when we become aware of them.

If shipping is offered, the shipping method and cost will be stated in the quote or order confirmation. You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address.

WEBSITE CONTENT AND AVAILABILITY

We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate, but descriptions, images, examples, and availability may change. Website access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law, Race City Engravings will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of this website or an order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in a court with proper jurisdiction.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page and changing the effective date. The Terms in effect when we confirm your order will apply to that order, together with its written quote and confirmation.
